In my Summer 2006 anime preview, I predicted that Tonagura! would consist of pure win. The character designs looked good, and I decided it would be ecchi fun for the whole family! Well, maybe not the whole family…
Coyote Ragtime Show is probably the highest budget anime of the season. The trailer promised us lots of action and high quality animation. So does Coyote Ragtime Show actually deliver?

The key to these 4koma are the meticulously engineered punchlines. They all consist of “nyoro~n.” The more of these that I read, the more convinced I am that Fang-tan needs her own spinoff anime. Enjoy!
Muteki Kanban Musume translates to “Invincible Pretty Daughter Who Attracts Boys To Parents’ Shop!” So seriously, how could I resist watching this anime? The manga version was translated and released in the US as “Noodle Fighter Miki,” so maybe I should refer to it as that. Here’s my impression of the anime’s first episode:
Anime Expo 2006 Licenses: The List!

Sorry, SOS-dan, no license for you; just hanabi
So apparently Anime Expo is the convention that’s known for its anime license announcements. This year was no exception. A lot of “well, duh” anime were announced, but there were also a few surprises. ANN decided to compile all of these into a nicely ordered list. I thought I’d go through the list and give my 2 cents on the acquisitions (at least, the ones I’m familiar with).
