I just got through the Kamichama Karin manga’s second volume, and I’m glad to say that it doesn’t suffer from the same QC issues as the anime version. I think.

The emo violin adventures continue in VS. Versus Vol. 2! Now with twice the emo!
009-1 is that one cyborg spy anime from the Fall of 2006 that really didn’t get much recognition. It probably had something to do with the fact that it quickly got licensed by ADV (and stopped getting fansubbed).
After catching up with the series, I finally had to wait a while for more Kamui. By the time I started reading the 7th volume, I think I forgot a lot of the plot. Luckily, this volume contains a “preview” that sums up a lot of the previous plot. Yay for that!
I remember watching the first episode of Joshikosei GIRLS HIGH and thinking it was totally lame. But also thinking it was kind of funny. I never continued watching the anime, but I did get a crapload of the manga to review!
Black Jack is back in “Seizure,” this time with about 100% more nipples! Seriously! We’re also introduced to Black Jack’s rival, White Jill. I kid, I kid.
Yesterday I reviewed the Shakugan no Shana DVD. Today I’m reviewing the Shakugan no Shana manga! It’s all part of a series I like to call: Shanathon! Or not.
Way back when my blog was first starting, Shakugan no Shana was my first anime impressions post. Whoa! Today I’m reviewing the first DVD of Shakugan no Shana. It’s pretty crazy seeing how far Basugasubakuhatsu’s come since then.
Originally, I took a look at the trailer for Afro Samurai and wrote it off as some lame ripoff masquerading as anime. Plus I didn’t have Spike TV, so I couldn’t just watch it on cable. I finally got the DVD, and had a chance to give the DVD a fair review. So how’d it turn out?
I just noticed that each cover of Nodame Cantabile has Nodame playing a different instrument. Volume 4 has her playing a flute. I don’t think it suits her, though. She should stick to weird instruments like the vibraslap and the theremin. She’ll probably start pulling out the obscure instruments once the manga hits volume 40 or so…
