My Kamui backlog is getting smaller and smaller. Currently, the manga is at volume 5, so I only have one more volume to go! Here’s my review of Kamui Vol. 4.
I really liked the Shinobuden anime (called Ninja Nonsense in the US), so I got totally stoked when I found out about a manga version being released! I ran out and bought the manga as soon as I could! Well, okay, I really bought it on Amazon since I couldn’t find it at a normal store. So how does the wacky ninja action work on print?
So I entered Julie’s manga contest over at Manga Maniac Cafe and actually won! I had never heard about Blood Alone before, but I was so stoked at getting the manga in the mail that I read it all from front to back! Well, back to front, technically, I mean, it’s manga…
Penguin Revolution is a shoujo manga that contains neither penguins nor revolutions. But it does have a lot of crossdressing! If it worked for Ouran High School Host Club, it should work for Penguin Revolution, right?
I got word from Broccoli Books that Kamui volume 5 is on its way, so I figured I should try and eliminate my manga backlog in preparation. I reviewed the first volume of Kamui about a month ago. Hopefully it won’t take me a month for volume 3!
These Tsuruya 4koma have certainly gotten pretty popular, haven’t they? Here’s a Kanon themed one that I found on Danbooru. Translated into English for your enjoyment!
In other news, Kanon is now up to 85 (make that 86) entries in the last two weeks!
Just recently, Broccoli Books sent me a bunch of anime calendars to review. I don’t typically review calendars on my blog, but these ones are anime themed! I got two wall calendars: Disgaea and Samurai Champloo. I also got two desk calendars: DiGi Charat and Juvenile Orion.
