Muteki Kanban Musume translates to “Invincible Pretty Daughter Who Attracts Boys To Parents’ Shop!” So seriously, how could I resist watching this anime? The manga version was translated and released in the US as “Noodle Fighter Miki,” so maybe I should refer to it as that. Here’s my impression of the anime’s first episode:

Despite how it sounds, Binbou Shimai Monogatari is not an anime about a bunch of bimbos. It’s actually about two poor sisters working to make ends meet. I like to translate Binbou Shimai Monogatari as “The Legend of the Financially Destitute Sisters!” So is this anime uplifting and happy, or super depressing? Or both?
So a few months ago, I got an order from yesasia.com which consisted of yummy manga goodness. Among all of these manga was one called “Hayate Cross Blade.” Unluckily for me, the manga didn’t include any furigana, so I couldn’t read it (I’m kinda bad at kanji)! Just recently, a scanslation group released the first chapter of Hayate Cross Blade, so I was able to use that as a sort of script to read my manga.
