Yep, it’s time for yet another top ten gimmick post! Mine? Top Ten Anime Meganekko! I’m somewhat of a Meganekko Maniac, so I figured I’d do a top ten on one of my favorite subjects:
In my next installment of Basugasubakuhatsu Anime how-tos, I demonstrate how to rip audio to any video source and encode into an MP3 file. This is similar the process I use to rip the OP and ED from all the anime that I review.
I usually use a different audio editor, but since I want to make these how-tos accessible to everyone, all of the programs in the tutorial are free and open source.

Shinigami no Ballad is the other 6-episode anime that replaces Hantsuki in the same time slot. It seems like a good choice to follow Hantsuki, since this anime is also about death. Morbid? Yes. Entertaining? Read on to find out!
A robot version of Meteru from the popular manga and anime, Galaxy Express 999 has been installed at a Kitakyushu Airport in Japan. According to Akihabara News:
This Me-Teru robot measures 1m70 and can respond to 200 airport releated questions.

I just added a new section to this site: Anime MP3s and Ringtones. The ringtones are in MP3 format too; I just thought I’d explicitly state what they’re for.
Whenever I review a new anime, I like to rip the OP and ED so I can listen to them whenever I want. I also occasionally make ringtones for my phone (currently I’m using Waltz from Honey and Clover). I figured I’d offer them here too, just in case anyone wants to download them. I’ll be adding more MP3s and ringtones as I get them.
Right now I’ll call this an experimental thing. If I get sued or if my bandwidth gets totally sucked up, I’ll have to take down the mp3s. I don’t have the resources to fight the man. But for now, enjoy. And if you anticipate yourself listening to them more than once, please download and save them to your computer.
At long last, a group by the name of “Anime-United” has decided to fansub Tactical Roar. Was the wait worth it? Or is Tactical Roar an anime best left unsubbed?
I’m sure you’ve all heard of ADV’s “Jiggle Counter,” a special feature in certain anime DVDs that counts the number of times a female character’s breasts, well… jiggle. Sometimes, the anime laws of physics are quite interesting in that regard.
A new brand of sports bra called Shock Absorber has a flash site up that simulates how much your bust will jiggle given a cup size and activity level. Mine is probably an A… You can view the jiggle all the way from an A cup to a G (which I thought only existed in anime…). The screenshot I’ve taken is in wire frame mode, but the default mode is NSFW, unless bouncing nude breasts are normal at your workplace (in which case, can I send you my resume?).
Though I admire the sheer programming knowlege that went into this, I have a feeling not one bra will be sold as a result of this. Rather, I think this is a challenge to all innovators in the anime field. Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to create a breastier, jigglier patent than this flash animation. Can you do it? The fate of the world lies in your hands…
In honor of this insane insert song, I ripped it from the anime so you can use it as a ringtone, or anything else, really. Doorbell ring, alarm clock music, instant messenger sound, the possibilities are endless!

I already wrote previously about some Disgaea anime promos that I had seen, but I finally got to take a look at the latest DVD promo in all its hi-res glory! There’s almost 5 minutes worth of animated Disgaea goodness! Screencaps and whatnot after the jump!
