Since there aren’t really any ninja anime this Fall season, I was totally psyched when I got the first few volumes of Basilisk in the mail. I had seen a couple of episodes of this anime on fansub, but I stopped when it got licensed (no, really!).

Trinity Blood is one of those anime that I never really payed much attention to when it came out. Whenever I hear “Trinity Blood,” I think of that Melty Blood game. Funimation sent me a review package of DVDs, and one of them was the Trinity Blood Volume 1 collector’s box. Awesome! Here’s my review:
9rules is a blogging community that I was fortunate enough to have been accepted into this past Summer. Today is the latest 9rules submission date. That’s right, 9rules only takes submissions every now and then for 24 hour windows at a time.
So this review is kinda late. I was hoping I’d be able to get through all of the season’s anime and do a writeup for each one, but school is rough! Anyway, Yoake Mae Yori Ruri Iro Na is that “Crescent Love” anime that has the moon girl in it. Yay, another h-game harem conversion!
I imagined the bartender anime as being the anime version of Cheers. And we all know how long Cheers lasted! But can an anime about bartending really be worth watching?
While fans of Kanon have had to wait more than four years for a remake, Mahou Sensei Negima gets one after less than two years! I actually liked the first series of Negima, so I didn’t see why they needed to remake this anime so soon.

When I first heard of the anime called “Sumomomo Momomo,” I immediately thought of Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo! Apparently there’s no actual connection behind the similar names. Sumomomo Momomo actually falls into the genre of “loli girl wants to make babies with unwilling guy.” But can any anime really be better than Rizelmine?
So Otome wa Boku ni Koi Shiteru is kind of like Strawberry Panic, except for one difference: one of the characters is a dude in drag! I’m all for these wacky gender-bending anime. So how does this one compare to the likes of Ouran High School Host Club and Strawberry Eggs?
So Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge, aka Perfect Girl Evolution, aka The Wallflower, is that one anime that’s sorta like She’s All That. Or at least, that’s what I figured it would be. Usually making ugly girls into hot babes consists of one step in movies: take off their glasses. But is it really that easy in anime?
